‘MAKE ROOM’ AT MOUNT RUSHMORE FOR DJT

The National Memorial in Keystone, South Dakota by sculptor, Gutzon Borglum, who named it the Shrine of Democracy is a national treasure. Borglum oversaw the execution of the monument from 1927 to 1941 with the help of his son, Lincoln Borglum. It has been argued that space was left to the right of President Lincoln to allow an additional president to be added to the side of President Linccoln.

Apparently a committee has been formed to develop a plan to expand the sculptures to include the 47th President of the United States Donald J. Trump. Concerns have been expressed as to the dimensions of a President Trump addition to insure that the height and size of the sculpture do not exceed that of President Washington.

Recently the governor of South Dakota, Kristi Noem was named by President Trump to be the Secretary of Homeland Security.
