CAN ‘AI’ HELP TO COUNTER THE IMPRESSION THAT LOOTING AND CAR JACKING CRIMES & BAD MANAGEMENT OF CITIES IS A BLACK PROBLEM?

| Madelyn Pointsouts

Perhaps Media could remove skin color using AI when posting crime videos and photography. Current postings on all media gives the impression that while black people account for about 14% of the population, they are responsible for a much higher percentage of crime. AI could be used to change the skin color on all people shown to an agreed neutral shade – or a color that does not exist in humans. Perhaps pink or light green. It might also be worthwhile to have the same technology change hair styles to something not identified with people of color such as dreadlocks or corn rows.

The same applies to under-performing government officials in badly managed and crime ridden cities throughout the Country. Perhaps their names and titles are sufficient identification – or if an image is felt to be necessary use AI to take racial identification off the table.

Currently AI is used in part to structure manipulative advertising. Perhaps it could be used for a higher purpose to allow us all, in the words of Rodney King, “… just get along” better and make us less suspicious of each other.
